Dr. Eugene Frimpong
CEO/Co-founder
Eugene is an audacious and decisive CEO, entrepreneur, and philanthropist responsible for setting the vision and direction for TAP. In this role, he oversees all company strategy, business activities, and operations. Eugene has over 17 years of experience in the US financial services industry, championing the use of data analytics in product development, risk stratification, and customer segmentation.
Eugene has worked for 3 Fortune 500 companies and was part of the team that first piloted predictive modeling for underwriting life insurance products. He has contributed to record-setting premium revenues for two former employers. He has an MBA (Executive Development) and a Master of Financial Management (Quantitative Finance) and holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) degree with an emphasis in Data Analytics. Eugene has excellent organizational leadership skills with a passion for fueling corporate foresight with data insights.
Dr. Kevin Abankwa
COO/Co-founder
Kevin is an author, entrepreneur, and engineer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, and obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University. Kevin also holds a doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Data Analytics from Grand Canyon University, Arizona. Kevin has over 11 years of experience in applying data analytical/mining tools and strategies, which have provided a total realized savings of over $10 million throughout his career.
As the Chief Operating Officer & Co-founder of TAP, Kevin ensures the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business, and strives to deliver & exceed expectations of TAP clients and stakeholders.
Carlos Ofosu
CFO/Co-founder
Carlos Ofosu is co-founder and chief financial officer at TAP. Carlos also serves as Managing Director of data and analytics at a Dallas-based oil and gas investment company. He pioneered the analytics department responsible for data-driven decision support for the firm's strategic investment initiatives.
Carlos holds an Executive MBA, as well as BBA, from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. He is also a serial entrepreneur, community leader, project management professional (PMP), and an information technology enthusiast. Carlos combines deep business management experience and technical knowledge to create value for TAP investors and stakeholders.
Selina Tom-Johnson
General Counsel
Selina Tom-Johnson is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. She has over seven years of experience as a practicing attorney, working with both government and private sector entities.
Selina brings significant corporate, regulatory and data analysis experience to oversee the legal affairs of TAP.
Augustus Frimpong
Manager (Ghana)
Augustus Kojo Frimpong is the Country Manager for TAP Global Ghana. Augustus has an MBA in finance from the University of Ghana, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA –UK).. Augustus joined TAP with over seventeen years of business experience in Ghana, where he worked for various companies as a consultant, including Coca-Cola Equatorial Africa limited. In his role, Augustus will oversee the overall operations, logistics, new business development, and ultimately ensure profitability at TAP Ghana.
Augustus' experience spans several industries, including hospitality, healthcare, and construction, performing duties in payroll, taxes, accounting, and audit. He has also helped companies raise capital for different projects. Augustus is an entrepreneur with investments in real estate, agriculture, and catering services. He has an in-depth working knowledge of business formation processes in Ghana. Augustus serves on the board of The Move Project (TMP), an Iowa –based non-governmental organization with operations in Tsipasi, Greater Accra Region –Ghana.
